Where are your products made?

Pat makes our tinctures, mushroom jerky and marinated mushrooms himself, by hand and in small batches, at his home on Union City Farm in Prospect, Connecticut. Our Mushroom Coffee and Myco Mocha are his own recipes: he orders the ingredients and blends them himself. The chaga, reishi and turkey tail are wild-harvested by Pat, never farmed, and our fresh mushrooms are grown in small batches. You’ll find it all at our shop on the farm.

Subscribe & save

How does Subscribe & save work?

On any product page, choose Subscribe & save 10% and pick how many months you’d like, from 1 to 6. You get 10% off the regular price on every monthly delivery. Your subscription ends by itself after the last month, so there is nothing to renew or cancel at the end. Fresh mushrooms aren’t part of Subscribe & save.

When am I charged for a subscription?

Month by month, never all upfront. Your card is charged for the first month when you check out, then once a month after that: one charge for each month you chose. Square emails you a receipt for each charge.

How does shipping work on a subscription?

Each monthly delivery follows our usual shipping rule on its own: free when that delivery comes to $75 or more after the discount, otherwise a flat $9.99, US only. You can also choose free pickup at our shop in Prospect, Connecticut. Pickup times vary, so contact the shop to arrange when to pick up your order.

How do I pay for a subscription?

With a credit or debit card. You enter it in Square’s secure card form on our checkout page, and Square saves it so it can charge each month: we never see your card number. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash App Pay can’t be saved for monthly charges, so they can’t be used for subscriptions.

Can I buy one-time items and subscriptions together?

Yes. Check out once for everything, with one card. Your one-time items are charged right away, and the first month of each subscription is charged at the same time as its own charge. After that, each subscription is charged once a month.

What if a monthly payment doesn’t go through?

Square emails you an invoice with a link to pay it. If your card has changed, message us on Facebook, call (860) 302-5535, message us on Instagram or email mushloveforyou@gmail.com.

Taking mushrooms

What’s the difference between a tincture and a powder?

A tincture is a liquid extract. We extract 100% mushroom fruiting bodies twice, in organic alcohol and in hot water, to capture both alcohol-soluble and water-soluble compounds, then combine them. It’s easy to dose: one dropper a day. A powder is dried mushroom ground fine; it’s ideal stirred into drinks and food, which is exactly how our Mushroom Coffee and Myco Mocha work.

How do I take a tincture?

Shake well, then take one full dropper (approximately 30 to 40 drops) per day. Take it under the tongue, or stir it into water, coffee or tea. One 1 fl oz bottle lasts about a month.

How long does it take to feel the effects?

Everyone is different, so we can’t promise a timeline. We suggest taking your mushrooms daily at the suggested serving and making them part of your routine: consistency matters more than quantity.

Are your products safe to take daily?

Follow the suggested serving on each product: for our tinctures, that’s one full dropper a day. As with any supplement, talk to your doctor before you start if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a medical condition.

Which mushroom should I start with?

Choose by what you want support with: Lion’s Mane for focus, Reishi for calm and rest, Chaga for immune and antioxidant support, and Turkey Tail for gut health. Can’t decide? The 7 Blend brings seven mushrooms together in one bottle.
